questions about our service, and our many fine products.
Since its founding in 1970 by
Guy Protano Sr. and his two sons, Guy Jr. and Pat, Protano's Bakery has
grown from a small Italian-American Deli with a couple of small ovens in the
backroom, to a bakery occupying over 30,000 square feet of plant space.
Still owned by Guy Jr.,
Protano's Bakery is a family operated business that has developed a long
list of loyal and devoted customers from Jupiter to Homestead, by providing
products and service unmatched by any other bakery. The wide variety of
products featured on this site are only a few of the many baked goods
offered by Protano's that are all baked under Broward Kosher supervision.
As one of South Florida's
largest bakeries, Protano's provides restaurants, hotels, delis, sub shops,
food services and convenience stores with the finest assortment of fresh
baked rolls, breads, cakes, pies, and danish.
Our business has evolved and our
tools have evolved as well. We recently upgraded our technology to include
the newest computer hardware and custom designed software to better serve
our customers in South Florida. Where appropriate, we have added automation
to our production to increase efficiency and maintain our low prices, but
not at the expense of quality. Often imitated, but never duplicated, we are
the standard by which our competitors judge themselves. We are flattered,
and say "Thank You" to our customers for allowing us to serve them for over
30 years.
